Brazing Unit DLA 2500

The diamond brazing unit DLA-2500
simplifies considerably the brazing of
diamonds to carbidel or molybdenum
tool holders under a protective gas
atmosphere compared to the rather
complex high vacuum systems.With
this new technology also small series of
brazed diamond tools can be manu-
factured economically. The simple layout
and easy operation of the DLA-2500
also allow for a high volume production.

The procedure

Cleaning of materials to be brazed
in an ultrasonic bath and acetone.
Fixing of tool holder and braze alloy
between the electrodes.
Closing the protective glass door
and filling the brazing chamber with
protective gas (approx.20 seconds).
Switching on the resistance heating
by either foot or hand.
Increasing temperature to eutectic
and positioning of diamond.

The DLA-2500 consists of a gas supply
and electrical supply unit,a brazing
chamber with control unit and a
work table.We offer a range of optional
accessories, such as a practical chest of
drawers,a useful ultrasound cleaning
apparatus,fittings,brazing alloy,holder
for cleansing material,tool set,three-way
foot pedal,and magnifying lamp.
