What makes the B127G stand out
Grinding
The S84 grinding head delivers maximum power across the entire 127 mm grinding surface width. With an integrated and automatic balancing unit, the S84 is not only enormously powerful but also absolutely precise. The new compact design was developed to minimize maintenance while further increasing positioning accuracy.
The S84’s dressing spindle ensures reduced energy consumption during dressing while maintaining its market-leading precision. With grinding wheels up to a maximum width of 127 mm and a diameter of 400 mm, the B127G offers very high productivity while maximizing the usable diameter of the grinding wheel.
Band Feed and Transport
The B127G’s band feed system has been significantly advanced to increase operating speed and drastically reduce material loss. Newly designed guides and a pneumatic band package holder ensure quick and effective band changes.
The loss-free feed system, included as standard with the B127G, ensures that grinding begins with the very first millimeter of band material. For companies focused on sustainability, the B127G makes an important contribution to more responsible production.
Dressing
Absolute flexibility and precision. Our standard single-axis dressing unit enables profiling of grinding wheels in seconds with complete control over all critical performance parameters. Alternatively, the GP2 system allows for single and two-axis dressing, offering invaluable additional capability.
Control
The B127G runs on Siemens’ SINUMERIK ONE system, a high-performance operating system with state-of-the-art microprocessors. The result? Maximum speed combined with perfectly coordinated CNC operation, even under heavy load. The use of the PLC SIMATIC S7-1500 PLC reduces machine downtime and provides the best conditions for integrating the B127G into higher-level automation systems.
Coolant and Filtration Management
The intelligent coolant management system supplied with the B127G operates fully automatically and increases operational efficiency. Coolant volumes and pressures are continuously monitored and ensured via the coolant unit’s control. More complex coolant applications, such as volume and pressure changes during roughing and finishing, can also be programmed and adjusted very easily.
